Changelog
Changes to Neural Native, their effect on your application and the framework baseline.
0.1.0-beta.1 · Published October 26, 2026
The first public beta is available on npm. Install it with npm install @neural-ui/native@beta. Its API may change before 1.0.0. The dates below identify development updates, not separate npm releases.
Component behaviour
- Action groups expose press feedback; toggle groups retain selection. Button variants, semantic tones and sizes can be explored in the configurators.
- Calendar includes an editable event agenda. Select supports searching and multiple selection; Gallery provides grid and mosaic layouts, and Image Viewer includes zoom controls.
- Dialogs, selection surfaces and media components include transitions, with the theme duration and reduced-motion preference taken into account by the shared motion system.
25 October 2026 · Angular Native 0.18.2 integration
Neural Native and its examples use Angular Native 0.18.2. This framework update improves rapid text entry and keyboard visibility in sheets on iOS. Keep all @ng-native packages on the same version.
24 October 2026 · Angular Native 0.18.1 integration
This development checkpoint integrated Angular Native 0.18.1, with Angular 22 and Expo SDK 57. Later entries identify the current supported framework version.
This framework patch fixes workspace path aliases in generated Nx tests. When updating an existing application, run the official migrations; they replace the affected Vitest plugin where needed. Neural Native component APIs and imports remain unchanged.
24 October 2026 · Previous Angular Native 0.18.0 integration
Apply the official framework migrations when updating an existing application. They connect device-condition observers to application cleanup. The testing environment also reflects the Intl APIs available in Hermes; add any required polyfills to your application and test setup.
21 October 2026 · Documentation
- Resources groups practical guides and official ecosystem references, with descriptions in English and Spanish.
- Compatibility and platform guidance share one page. Testing adds form-validation and asynchronous overlay examples, while Performance includes a searchable virtual-list example.
- Configurators, validation messages and accessible table labels follow the documentation language. Reference tables keep their rows visible and scroll horizontally when needed.

20 October 2026 · Previous Angular Native 0.17.1 integration
- Neural Native and the showcase align their framework packages to 0.17.1. The application baseline remains Expo SDK 57.
- The slider drag interaction follows the updated native engine API.
- Anchored dropdowns on Android have a bounded scrolling area that adjusts to their measured content, fixing an invisible options panel.
Do I need to change my application?
This integration keeps the existing public component inputs and imports. When adopting this baseline, keep the @ng-native packages aligned and use the compatibility guide to review native dependencies.
